Enhance modular construction systems as a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. This in-person role focuses on the design and development of advanced automation technologies.

The ideal candidate will engage in a two-year term position at North Campus, involving hands-on responsibilities like electrical schematic development and control panel design. You’ll also assist in improving Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems and work with cutting-edge applications in computer vision and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support automated machinery design and development
• Create and test electrical schematics for machinery
• Integrate automated systems to improve performance




• Collaborate on SCADA and digital twin projects
• Optimize workflows between Revit/BIM and machine processes

Requirements:
• Educational background in engineering or relevant discipline
• Experience with system integration and automation
• Familiarity with BIM and machine learning applications
• Team collaboration skills for project execution
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities
