El-Con Construction seeks a Hydrovac Operator skilled in customer service and technical tasks in utility projects. Operate HydroVac trucks effectively, maintaining high safety and communication standards.

In this role, you will execute key functions such as operating heavy machinery, interpreting utility plans, and reporting project delays. Your proactive approach will ensure seamless coordination with supervisors and teams throughout construction processes. A solid foundation of at least 2 years of HydroVac experience and a valid Ontario Class D driver's license are necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate the HydroVac Truck in office
• Interpret utility locates and project plans efficiently
• Document work orders and ensure timely reporting




• Ascertain equipment safety and maintenance
• Report issues to Supervisor and coordinate preparations

Requirements:
• 2+ years of HydroVac Truck operation experience
• Valid Ontario Class D driver's license with clean record
• Familiarity with Book 7 is advantageous
• Knowledge of fiber optic installations considered a plus
• Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
