Keyano College is seeking passionate Paramedicine Instructors for its Primary Care and Advanced Care programs, starting August 2026. This on-campus role in Fort McMurray requires communication skills and a commitment to student success.
You will play a key role in instructing courses, assessing student performance, and mentoring future paramedics. In addition, responsibilities will include supervising students during clinical placements and assisting with program accreditation processes. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive field and teaching experience in the paramedicine discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Primary Care and Advanced Care Paramedic courses
• Maintain office hours for mentorship and student engagement
• Supervise field practicums to enhance student learning
• Engage with local community partners for program support
• Coordinate program and curriculum development initiatives
Requirements:
• Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma with relevant Bachelor's degree
• Minimum three years of ACP field experience
• Current registration as an Advanced Care Paramedic
• Experience with high-fidelity simulation equipment preferred
• Solid organizational and communication skills
