The British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives is searching for a Policy Analyst to support its mandate of health profession regulation. This full-time, temporary role involves research, analysis, and synthesis of evidence to support nursing and midwifery standards. You will be expected to utilize your expertise to identify trends and inform standards support initiatives while working collaboratively with a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct primary and secondary research methodologies
• Develop evidence-informed briefing materials and reports
• Lead survey processes and manage feedback effectively
• Synthesize data to identify emerging practice issues
• Ensure adherence to confidentiality and organizational policies
Requirements:
• Master’s or nursing-related degree with additional experience
• 5-7 years in healthcare with strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven project management and coordination abilities
• Insight into Indigenous health and equity issues
