In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team providing acute mental health services in a 16-bed inpatient unit, along with community services like counseling and vocational rehabilitation. The position also includes teaching medical students and contributing to ongoing program development. You will experience a supportive work workplace, fostering both personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver acute and integrated care for children and youth
• Teach and mentor medical students in clinical settings
• Contribute to program development and quality improvement
• Work within a collaborative inter-disciplinary team
• Manage a call schedule of approximately 1: 5 to 6 days
Requirements:
• Qualified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Strong background in community mental health practices
• Passion for patient-centered care and teamwork
• Interest in NAVIG8 leadership development program
• Ability to manage diverse cases and situations
