You will report directly to the City Engineer, utilizing your civil engineering knowledge and leadership skills to oversee critical projects. With a P. Eng. designation and three to five years of municipal engineering experience, you will coordinate inter-departmental efforts and ensure engineering integrity and sustainability in all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct development charges and municipal assessments
• Review applications for subdivisions and site plans
• Manage city growth-related project budgets
• Mentor Development Engineer on capital projects
• Communicate project requirements with public stakeholders
Requirements:
• University Degree in Civil Engineering & P. Eng. certification
• Three to five years of relevant municipal engineering experience
• Solid communication and technical writing abilities
• Proficiency in computerized engineering environments
• Dedication to health, safety, and compliance practices
