Join Denison as a Senior Exploration Geologist to focus on uranium projects in the Athabasca Basin. This role is based in Saskatoon with frequent travel to exploration sites. Reporting to the Director, Exploration, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing exploration initiatives.
Your technical expertise in geology will foster quality data collection and promote effective team collaboration. The position demands balancing office responsibilities while leading initiatives at active exploration sites, particularly the Wheeler River Project. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan Denison’s exploration initiatives in the Athabasca Basin
- Oversee project coordination with internal teams to meet budget guidelines
- Execute drill programs ensuring quality geological data collection
- Develop geological models in collaboration with technical staff
- Prepare project evaluation reports and documentation Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years in mineral exploration with relevant experience
- Must be a registered Professional Geologist in Canada
- Knowledge of GIS and 3D modelling software
