Become a vital part of Tolko’s forestry management team as a Woodlands Operations Supervisor in the beautiful Southern Interior of British Columbia. This role blends fieldwork with office responsibilities in a collaborative setting.
In this position, you will draw upon your 5+ years of experience in either harvesting, timber permitting, or partnership with First Nations to effectively manage our substantial area of woodlands. You'll have the prospect to travel across Kamloops and Vernon, enhancing your relationships within the forestry community while upholding safety and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and supervise field operations and personnel
• Maintain safety and quality standards at all times
• Interact with various teams to build relationships
• Work in both office and field environments
• Travel throughout the southern BC communities
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant forestry experience
• Degree or Technical Diploma in Forestry
• Active registration with the Forest Professionals British Columbia
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Commitment to safety and sustainability
