You will work within a comprehensive interdisciplinary team that delivers inpatient, day treatment, and outpatient services. Your key functions encompass psychodiagnostic assessments and imparting therapeutic techniques, including Family Based Therapy (FBT) and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). Collaboration with healthcare professionals and educational efforts for students will be central to this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychodiagnostic and psychological assessments for patients
• Implement therapeutic interventions using FBT and EFFT
• Liaise with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Engage in case planning during interdisciplinary team rounds
• Train Psychology residents and practicum students
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution
• Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Experience treating severe eating disorders in youth
• Proficiency in group and family therapy methodologies
