We are expanding our Family Law team in Burnaby and seeking a skilled associate. Manage your own family law cases, primarily within the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and contribute to trial preparations.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in family law litigation in BC and should be an active member of the Law Society of British Columbia. Independent advocacy experience and impeccable drafting skills are essential. Solid communication capabilities will enhance interactions with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle a full caseload of family law matters
• Participate as a second chair in trials
• Draft pleadings and correspondence with precision
• Communicate with clients and the court effectively
• Conduct independent advocacy on client issues

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of family law litigation experience
• Member of the Law Society of BC in good standing
• Proven independent advocacy skills
• Strong attention to detail and drafting ability
• Collaborative yet able to operate independently
