Join the Parks and Recreation team as a Pool Operator at R.G. Dow Pool. This role focuses on aquatic facility management, encouraging community participation while ensuring safety and operational excellence.

In this limited role, you will be tasked with various responsibilities such as overseeing pool operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a high quality of customer service. You will collaborate with the Recreation Co-ordinator to align resource management with CGS’s vision. Your impact will extend to staff training, budgeting, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer cash handling and program schedules
• Ensure safe operational standards within the mechanical room




• Lead swimming lessons and assist in lifeguarding
• Promote facility programs and maintain cleanliness
• Oversee staff training and performance management

Requirements:
• 2.5 to 5 years of relevant experience
• National Lifeguard Certificate and CPR certification
• Lifesaving Instructor and Pool Operator Certificates
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to operate a vehicle safely
