Join Elk Valley Resources as an Accounting Co-op and develop your financial expertise in a dynamic mining environment. Utilize your analytical skills to support EVR's financial operations while experiencing life in the beautiful Elk Valley.

Commencing in January 2027, this co-op role lasts for either 8 or 12 months. You will actively participate in financial reporting, assist with account reconciliations, and adhere to health and safety policies. In addition, you will support the completion of quarterly and annual financial reporting and provide vital contributions to process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare operational and head office financial reports
• Assist in standardizing financial processes
• Complete financial transactions in compliance




• Help with account reconciliations and audit requirements
• Develop innovative ideas for business improvement

Requirements:
• Actively pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting
• Class 5 Driver's License with no restrictions
• Exceptional written and verbal skills
• Robust attention to detail in all tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, prior Dynamics AX experience is a plus
