Become a Staff Technologist with HSO and contribute to ISO 15189 Plus accreditation in medical labs. This hybrid full time role focuses on assessment coordination and quality management improvement.
As part of HSO, the Staff Technologist is vital for delivering high-quality accreditation services both domestically and internationally. With responsibilities including planning assessments, analyzing evidence, and guiding process enhancements, candidates should have substantial Laboratory Medicine experience. Fluency in both French and English is required, alongside exceptional organizational and communication skills to foster collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in separate accreditation assessments and reviews
• Oversee compliance of self-assessment submissions
• Update and refine accreditation requirements
• Initiate improvements for accreditation procedures
• Travel across Canada and internationally for assessments
Requirements:
• Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) certification
• Membership with a relevant college
• Minimum five years of Laboratory Medicine experience
• Government-issued driver’s license
• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, especially Word and Excel
