Join Calgary Heritage Housing as a Maintenance Technician dedicated to enhancing seniors' quality of living. Provide effective service and perform essential maintenance tasks across our properties.
This role involves collaborating with the Maintenance Manager to maintain safety and efficiency in senior housing facilities. You'll ensure buildings and grounds are well-kept, respond to service requests promptly, and coordinate tenant transitions. Your hands-on skills and effective communication will be key in creating a safe environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the safety and condition of buildings and grounds
• Track and resolve service requests via Yardi
• Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
• Oversee contractor projects to ensure quality completion
• Prepare vacant suites for incoming tenants
Requirements:
• Five years of maintenance experience in a residential setting
• Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
• Independent work capability with minimal supervision
• Must have a driver’s license and vehicle
