As a Marine Aquarist, you will oversee the care of marine animals, ensuring their healthy lifestyle within our educational programs. This role offers adaptable scheduling based on animals' needs and involves practical tasks like cleaning and maintenance of aquaria systems. Collaborate with the Managing Director to enhance educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and care for the Centre's aquaria systems
• Fix and upgrade equipment in coordination with management
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and the community




• Collect and restock specimens for aquaria as necessary
• Manage quality food sourcing for optimal animal care

Requirements:
• High school diploma; relevant post-secondary education is a plus
• 1-2 years hands-on aquarium experience required
• Strong interpersonal and public communication abilities
• Comfortable handling equipment and working in outdoor conditions
• Successful completion of Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
