Become the Environmental Monitoring Coordinator for the Mikisew Cree First Nation in Fort Chipewyan, Alberta. Play a vital role in overseeing community monitoring programs and environmental stewardship.

In this full-time, temporary position, you will report to the Environmental Manager and leverage your skills in leading monitoring activities, coordinating logistics, and engaging with Indigenous community members. This role values robust leadership and a commitment to environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities:
• Direct CBM field operations and monitoring activities
• Prepare schedules and manage Guardian assignments
• Ensure safe equipment handling and field logistics
• Track and maintain detailed field records
• Facilitate community engagement in monitoring practices

Requirements:
• Relevant diploma or degree in Environmental Science
• Track record of coordinating environmental projects
• Proficiency in Excel and document maintenance
• Awareness of Indigenous ecological knowledge
• Capability to travel and a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
