The Operations team at GFL needs a skilled Journeyman Mechanic for their Fleet Maintenance division. Responsibilities include routine maintenance and comprehensive repairs on Oil Collection Trucks and other vehicles. Your mechanical knowledge will contribute to keeping our equipment in top condition while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Complete repairs on engines, drivetrains, and hydraulics
• Participate in safety program compliance
• Document all repairs accurately and descriptively
• Fabricate and install aftermarket equipment as needed

Requirements:
• Valid Journeyman Certification
• Knowledge of the CVIP Motor Vehicle Inspection Program
• Driver’s license Class 5 required; Class 1Q or 3Q is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting capacity with diverse machinery
• Tool ownership necessary for daily tasks
