Our client is hiring a Regional Accountant, reporting to the Manager of Regional Accounting. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed financial reporting and analysis, supporting project budgets, and preparing job cost reports. You will collaborate closely with finance and real estate teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial reports, including variance analysis
• Support development and rental property budgeting
• Record and analyze general ledger activity
• Assist with annual budgeting and five-year plans
• Review financial terms of lease agreements
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Post-secondary degree in finance or accounting
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of IFRS and advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with joint venture accounting preferred
