The Sanitation Worker is responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of industrial equipment and machinery used in the production and packaging of salads. This includes washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing the conveyor lines and the floors within the facility according to food safety standards and procedures.As this is an industrial environment, we will provide the PPE required (hard hats, steel-toe rubber boots, and rain gear).Salary:starting at $17.94/ hourShift Schedule:Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm – 08:30 pmResponsibilitiesSpray, scrub, and clean the production and packaging machinery and equipmentUse of air hoses to push the lettuce debris out from the production machinesEmpty the trashDisassemble and reassemble the scales to clean themUse of spray hoses to wash the conveyor linesRemove/dry condensation and water from the walls, ceiling, and floorPerform other related duties as requiredQualificationsRelevant experience in a manufacturing or agribusiness setting is an assetAbility to do physical labor work in a refrigerated and humid environment (3°C) for long periods of timeAbility to speak and understand EnglishAbility to lift loads up to 50 lb (some workstations)Ability to get to work on time for each shift#J-18808-Ljbffr
