Join the Law Society of BC as a Paralegal, supporting the Intake & Early Resolution team in Vancouver. This full time role spans nine months and emphasizes complaints management.

The Law Society of BC is seeking a qualified Paralegal to facilitate the complaints review process. With a minimum of five years in a legal or regulatory environment, you will be responsible for coordinating complaint reviews and preparing necessary materials for the Complainants’ Review Committee. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and manage all complaints review requests
• Prepare and send correspondence to parties involved
• Attend CRC meetings and maintain accurate minutes




• Update and compile CRC statistics regularly
• Assist in special projects as assigned

Requirements:
• Paralegal degree and 5+ years of legal experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Familiarity with conflict resolution principles is beneficial
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations
