Drive impactful research at UBC as the INMD Research Administrator focused on finance. Manage budgets and enhance research administration for the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
As a key member of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research team, you'll manage and maintain financials for INMD operations. This full-time role allows you to utilize your expertise in budget management, research data oversight, and CIHR policy compliance. Work closely with directors to support strategic financial planning and compliance across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage research grants and CIHR budgets
• Prepare quarterly budget projections and financial reports
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with guidelines
• Collaborate with study teams on budgetary adherence
• Support the development and execution of research applications
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree with two years of experience
• Experience in financial management within research settings
• Robust organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
• Successful in coordinating high-level meetings and events
