Our client is seeking an experienced Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) to support installation, maintenance, and optimization of high-speed manufacturing equipment in a growing, technically sophisticated environment.

Position Overview
The Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems within an automotive steel blanking and stamping operation. The role plays a key part in keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Install, assemble, align, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic,
and mechanical systems
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics
Perform inspections to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve reliability
Document work orders and maintenance activities through CMMS
Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelinesSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
Qualifications
Industrial Millwright (433A) License – Ontario (required)
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing
Experience with automotive stamping or blanking equipment preferred
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and gear systems
Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals
Welding, machining, and fabrication experience considered an asset
Exposure to predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermography)
Basic electrical and PLC troubleshooting knowledge is a plus
Comfortable working shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
