Join the Mental Health team at Interior Health in Williams Lake, BC as a Care Aide. This casual role emphasizes personal care, vital signs monitoring, and patient engagement.

We are in search of a motivated Care Aide to assist in delivering exceptional patient care. Working under nursing staff, you will follow structured care plans that enhance patient well-being. This is a dynamic role focused on support, observation, and social interaction for mental health patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities for patients
• Facilitate patient mobility and transfers safely
• Perform nursing tasks, including taking vital signs
• Maintain a clean and healthy workplace for patients
• Report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff

Requirements:
• Experience working as a Care Aide or in a similar capacity
• Familiarity with patient care procedures
• Good communication and observation skills
• Ability to undertake varied responsibilities on a casual basis
• Commitment to providing compassionate care
