Shape the future of Edmonton’s utilities as a Utility Management Strategist. This leadership role involves managing significant utility contracts to achieve climate neutrality and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the General Supervisor, you will direct supply activities for both conventional and renewable resources while overseeing budget management of $80 million. This pivotal position requires strategic planning expertise and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the power sector, focusing on compliance and innovative contract solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic planning for utilities supply contracts
• Develop expert policies for energy and climate management
• Evaluate and procure renewable utility contracts




• Oversee data management and utilities compliance
• Mentor and develop the utilities supply team

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA is an asset
• Minimum of 7 years in power and utilities
• Proficiency in utilities management regulations
• Robust problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
