In this pivotal role, you will report to the Director of Asset Management and Maintenance, managing a range of recreational and corporate capital projects. Key responsibilities include developing strategic plans, conducting asset assessments, and ensuring sustainability goals are met. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders while leading your project team through all phases of development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage facility-related capital program projects
• Develop long-range planning for facilities and parks
• Liaise with external consultants and internal departments
• Ensure project standards are met on schedule and budget
• Lead facility investigations and emergency response
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering, Building Sciences, or similar
• At least five years’ experience in municipal environments
• Three years of management in a unionized context
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Current Ontario driver's license required
