Life’s Journey Inc. seeks a dedicated House Lead in Elie, MB for a full-time, permanent position. This role emphasizes a supportive environment for participants while upholding high safety standards.
The House Lead is tasked with direct support of individuals in the Residential Program, ensuring their needs are met effectively. You will train and guide the Residential Support Mentors and liaise with various team members to uphold our program goals. Your ability to manage complex situations and foster collaboration will enhance the quality of care provided to our participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the residential support staff in daily operations
• Foster a positive workplace for program participants
• Train and mentor new Residential Support Mentors
• Enforce compliance with health and safety standards
• Participate in planning and monitoring resident activities
Requirements:
• At least three years of related experience preferred
• Background in mental health support and crisis management
• Certification in First Aid Level 1 is necessary
• Adequate vehicle and insurance for job responsibilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
