Take the next step in your career at CPAWS as an Executive Assistant & Board Secretary in Ottawa. This hybrid position provides strategic administrative support within a national framework, requiring bilingual proficiency.

As a key support to the National Executive Director and the Board of Trustees, you'll focus on calendar management, meeting organization, and financial administrative tasks. Your strategic insight will help improve governance practices while ensuring attention to detail and professionalism under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute a variety of administrative tasks for the executive director
• Coordinate logistics for meetings and national events
• Supervise the executive director's office budget




• Keep governance records well-organized and accessible
• Support the planning of Annual General Meetings

Requirements:
• Bilingualism (English and French) is essential
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting executives
• Over 5 years in administrative positions
• Familiarity with board governance processes
• Robust skills in Microsoft 365 tools and virtual meeting platforms
