Join BayCare as a Surgical Technologist at St. Joseph's Main and Children's CVOR. Provide essential support in the operating room while ensuring patient safety and sterile techniques.

This full time position involves preparing surgical equipment, coordinating specimen management, and assisting with patient transport under RN supervision. Your interpersonal skills and technical knowledge will greatly contribute to our clinical excellence. The role includes a shift from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm with potential on-call duties and occasional weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and maintain a sterile field for surgeries
• Manage inventory of surgical supplies efficiently
• Assist in patient transport and preparation
• Coordinate handling of surgical specimens
• Engage with RNs and surgical teams for optimal care

Requirements:
• Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program
• Certification by NBSTSA or NCCT required
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of Surgical Tech experience preferred
