Fastly is actively seeking a detail-oriented engineer for our Data Center Provisioning team. You'll be responsible for deploying servers and network devices while collaborating with internal operations to support the rapid expansion of our platform. This position emphasizes innovation in provisioning processes and tooling to enhance efficiency and scalability across our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provision servers and network devices per established standards
• Troubleshoot issues during provisioning and service activation
• Partner with teams for error-free infrastructure deployment
• Improve processes and standards for current infrastructure
• Oversee post-deployment validation and integration
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in provisioning or site reliability
• Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP and routing protocols
• Familiarity with Linux and workflow tools like Ansible
• Ability to script in Bash or Python
• Experience in CDNs or large-scale infrastructures is a plus
