Join Providence Care as a full-time Registered Practical Nurse on the Mobile Response Team in Brockville, ON. Focus on providing specialized care for seniors exhibiting responsive behaviours related to dementia and mental health issues.

In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering direct care alongside RNs and PSWs within long-term care homes. You will develop and implement supportive strategies to address the unique needs of clients. Engage in quality improvement initiatives while fostering a team-oriented, person-centered approach throughout your practice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct nursing care in cooperation with RN and PSWs
• Engage in assessment and care planning tailored to clients' needs
• Collaborate with other Seniors Mental Health Services and consultants




• Use evidence-based tools during client assessments
• Flexibility to work in various long-term care homes in the area

Requirements:
• Valid RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least one year of experience in elder care
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Knowledge of dementia care and supportive management approaches
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
