Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently at heights. Candidates with experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman work are encouraged to apply. Duties

Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel

Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings

Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings

Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems

Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools

Install sheet metal flashings

Load, unload and transport construction materials

Follow emergency and safety procedures

Experience

Prior experience working on shingled roofs

Prior experience with hand tools, construction, or carpentry is preferred

Knowledge of blueprint reading is a plus for understanding project specifications

Handyman experience that demonstrates versatility in building or repair work is advantageous

Familiarity with caulking techniques and heavy lifting requirements is beneficial

Previous work involving roofing installation or repair will be considered an asset

This position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented,



and committed to delivering high-quality work. It is physically demanding, involving bending crouching, kneeling and handling heavy loads. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions, performing repetitive tasks and working under pressure. A strong work ethic combined with safety awareness is essential for success in this role. Candidate must have excellent oral communication, be dependable, reliable and a excellent team player.

Salary :$30 Hourly
Anticipated Start Date :As soon as possible
