In this senior to intermediate-career role, you will support the Flight Research Laboratory by spearheading research flight activities. Your background in fixed-wing piloting and project management will be vital for conducting comprehensive test evaluations across multiple aircraft platforms. Engaging with aerospace partnerships will also be key for advancing innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pilot research activities across different aircraft platforms
• Oversee the design and execution of research experiments
• Analyze flight data and compile technical reports
• Provide expertise in managing cooperative research projects
• Ensure safety and operational compliance during flights
Requirements:
• Master’s degree preferred in engineering or related field
• Extensive experience as a fixed-wing test pilot
• Completion of a recognized test pilot training course
• Hold a valid airline transport pilot license
• Ability to work in demanding environments
