Leggat Discovery Ford is looking for a Service Valet! This position will be customer facing, and involves helping where needed in the automotive shop. This entry level position is a great way to gain experience in an automotive shop environment!

Compensation: $17.90 per hour

Hours of Work: 40 hours, 5 days per week Monday to Saturday with one weekday off.

Job Duties:

- Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
- Controls service traffic flow and parking.
- Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment.
- Records existing vehicle damage.
- Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
- Place vehicle Interior Protection in each vehicle, tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles
- Move vehicles to appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are locked
- Fill in for shuttle drivers as needed
- Bring customers’ vehicles to the front of service drive when directed
- Wash vehicles after service. Assist in winter tire storage and organization during tire change over seasons

Successful Candidates Possess:





- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to work in a team and possess solid interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
- Ability to lift 40lbs
