Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented skilled labourer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for, assembling, and maintaining sheet metal components using a variety of advanced tools and machinery. This role requires strong hand eye coordination, good organization skills and blueprint reading to ensure high-quality production standards.

The team member will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision in all tasks.

Responsibilities

- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measurement devices for accurate fabrication and quality inspection of parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Load and unload transport trucks with a propane forklift.
- Confirm received parts and products match purchase orders.
- load sheet metal onto various CNC cutting machines and unload cut parts.
- Check parts for quality and quantity to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to meet strict standards.
- Assist in assembly processes as needed to complete final products efficiently.
- Assemble and wrap finished skids of parts as per provided standards.




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

- Proven experience with manufacturing processes involving sheet metal fabrication.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Punch, laser, or CNC punch brake experience is a requirement
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, hand tools, calipers, and other handheld equipment safely.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to packaging and order fulfillment.
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Familiarity with assembly processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity for experienced labourers to contribute their expertise within a dynamic manufacturing environment dedicated to precision craftsmanship and safety standards.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
