About Us:

Arbor Vitae Landscape & Design is a growing landscape construction company focused on high-quality hardscaping, outdoor living spaces, and professional snow removal services.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable individual who can help in our snow removal operations during the winter.

This position is responsible for keeping commercial sidewalks, entrances, steps, and pedestrian areas clear and safe throughout the winter season.

Responsibilities

- Shovel snow from sidewalks, entrances, steps, ramps, and other pedestrian areas
- Operate snow blowers and other small snow-removal equipment
- Apply salt or ice-melting products as required
- Clear snow around doorways, garbage areas, fire exits, and other designated locations
- Work efficiently as part of a snow-removal crew
- Follow assigned routes and site-specific instructions
- Report hazardous conditions, damage, or site concerns to the crew lead
- Maintain equipment and keep work areas organized
- Be available during snow and ice events, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements
- Valid G driver’s licence
- Reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and able to report to work on short notice when winter weather occurs
- Physically capable of repetitive shovelling, lifting, walking, and working outdoors for extended periods
- Comfortable working in cold, snowy, and icy conditions




- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Snow-removal or landscaping experience is an asset, but not required

Position Details
- Seasonal: November through April
- Hours vary depending on snowfall and weather conditions
- Shifts may begin very early in the morning or overnight
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
