Experienced Carpenter / Mason

Arthur James Construction Ltd. is a growing residential construction company based in Collingwood, Ontario, specializing in premium masonry, natural stone, carpentry, concrete, hardscaping, fireplaces, waterproofing, and custom residential renovations.

What You'll Do

- Residential framing, including garages, sheds, additions, and custom structures.
- Natural stone, brick, and masonry installations.
- Build and repair stone staircases, patios, retaining walls, and other hardscape features.
- Concrete forming, placement, and finishing.
- Foundation waterproofing and restoration.
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, and power tools.
- Read plans and complete projects to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and coworkers.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of residential construction experience.
- Strong experience in framing, masonry, carpentry, or multiple construction trades.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.




- Equipment operating experience is considered an asset.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available

Work Location: Projects throughout Collingwood, Thornbury, The Blue Mountains, Meaford, Wasaga Beach, and surrounding areas.
