Snow Plow and Heavy Equipment Operator

Duties

- Operate snow plow and Heavy equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and other designated areas
- Remove snow and ice from surfaces using plows, shovels, and other tools
- Spread salt or sand to prevent ice buildup on surfaces
- Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to changing snowfall or ice conditions
- Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Keep records of work performed and report any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record mandatory

- Must have own transportation
- Previous experience operating snow plow equipment
- Knowledge of snow removal techniques and best practices
- Ability to work in cold and challenging weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
