Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Snow Removal Operator to join our team and help maintain safe, accessible outdoor spaces during winter months. This paid position offers an energetic environment where you'll utilize your mechanical knowledge and landscape maintenance skills to efficiently clear snow and ice from various properties. Responsibilities
- Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, shovels, and salt spreaders to clear driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist with snow clearing tasks when necessary
- Perform routine maintenance on snow removal machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks during off-peak seasons to support ongoing property care
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during snow removal operations
- Collaborate with team members to complete snow clearing efficiently and effectively
- Report any equipment issues or hazards encountered during operations promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience with construction or landscape maintenance is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining snow removal equipment
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor maintenance tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
- Robust attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required; ability to operate machinery safely is essential
- Basic understanding of irrigation, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is a plus
