Our client has an immediate need for an entry-level, energetic Partnership Design Specialist with a passion for sports and in particular Football.

The BC Lions are growing and looking for the ideal person with excellent communication and Graphic Design skills to join them. This is a full-time role with expectations you will be onsite and working on Game Day and all BC Lions Football Events as needed.

You have to have the technical skills and you must have the communication, passion and interpersonal business communication skills to be part of this team. The ideal candidate will be a team player, a keen learner and have a natural passion for sports marketing and design.

Reporting to the Senior VP, Business, and in concert with the Brand Manager and GraphicDesign team, this role is primarily responsible for creating exciting and compelling partnership proposals and ticketing collateral. You thrive in a high energy, fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and a team player that understands the importance of communication and adhering to deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (others may be assigned from time to time):

Adaptation of design elements to carry out the continuity of the BC Lions brand throughout all sponsorship and ticket sales collateral

Adoption and understanding of the BC Lions brand standards guide

Working in collaboration with marketing, digital, game operations and community partnerships to incorporate sponsors into team branded elements

Development and creative production of partnership proposals and fulfillment reports





Consolidate data and present in an attractive and visually pleasing manner

Accurate proofing of all materials

Your must have's are:

Communication skills both internally with key stakeholders via e-mail, phone and in person

Capable of working on multiple design projects at a given time under tight deadlines

Ability to Work with sponsors on creative brand elements such as A-frames, LEDs, digital game program ads, and other items as assigned

Excellent file management skills including archiving, manipulating and distribution of files

Requirements Qualifications and Requirements:

Knowledgeable and efficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Majority of workload will be InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).

Experienced working in animation, specifically After Effects to develop motion graphics for in-stadium LEDs

Post-secondary graphic design education

1+ years’ work experience preferred

Able to take direction and work within Club’s brand standards

Able to work collaboratively and take constructive feedback

Good understanding of typography

Detail-oriented, especially under deadline pressure

Excellent grammar, spelling, proofreading, verbal and writing abilities

Highly organized and communicative

Willing to work long hours and weekends; able to work at all home games

A true passion for sports, the CFL and the BC Lions
