Elevate production operations with Highbury Canco as a Materials Planning Specialist. This role focuses on vendor relationships and SAP management to optimize raw materials supply in Leamington.
Reporting to the Manager of Production Planning and Inventory Control, your expertise in materials planning will drive efficiency in production processes. You will establish and maintain effective vendor relationships while using SAP to ensure suitable raw material procurement and mitigate potential conflicts in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and cultivate effective vendor relationships
• Ensure consistent supply of raw materials for production
• Anticipate conflicts affecting material availability
• Generate vendor forecasts and manage purchase orders
• Maintain up-to-date SAP master data and contracts
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in logistics or material planning
• 1-3 years’ experience in production planning settings
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office required
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
