Take charge of daily harvesting operations as the Harvest Supervisor at Hendriks Greenhouses. Ensure the protected and efficient gathering of premium floral and tropical plants each day.
This pivotal role requires overseeing harvesting teams, coordinating with Production Leads, and maintaining quality standards. You'll manage daily tasks to guarantee that customers receive vibrant, healthy plants that meet specifications. Training team members and meeting production priorities will be key to success in this hands-on position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily tasks and monitor progress of harvesting teams
• Coordinate with Production Department on crop readiness
• Sort and label products in designated harvest areas
• Maintain accurate records on Daily Harvest Sheets
• Train and mentor harvesting team members
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of plant harvesting processes
• Ability to lift 30 lbs comfortably
• Experience in greenhouse environments preferred
