ABOUT THE ROLE
The Inventory Controller manages and oversees multi-site inventory reconciliations and valuations to ensure accurate financial reporting and valuation within a SOX / USGAAP framework. Positioned within the finance team, this role requires a CPA designation, manufacturing industry expertise, and SAP / ERP capabilities to maintain robust internal controls and drive process improvements.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
Financial Oversight & Reconciliation: Lead and manage inventory reconciliations, physical stock counts, general ledger, and sub-ledgers.
Standard Costing & Revaluation: Drive the periodic standard costing process and inventory revaluation routines to maintain accurate product costing.
Internal Controls & Audit Compliance: Maintain robust internal controls over inventory, lead month-end closing activities, conduct balance sheet reviews, and support internal/external audit requirements.
Documentation Management: Create and manage a centralized repository for inventory-related documentation (drone surveys, scale calibrations, monthly reconciliations).
Systems Expertise (SAP): Serve as the finance subject matter expert for inventory-related SAP processes.
Process Improvement: Continuously refine inventory tracking, valuation methodologies and stock management procedures across the manufacturing and network footprint.
Variance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze, report, and provide actionable insights on inventory variances.
Industry & System Requirements: Experience in a manufacturing environment along with advanced SAP skills and strong business partnering capabilities.

Accounting and Finance Degree
Additional Education Preferred
Professional accounting designation required (CPA)
Required Work Experience
3+ years of financial management experience with increasing responsibility and complex roles
Required Technical Skills
SAP/ERP BI skills

US GAAP / SOX experience required
Experience in a manufacturing environment along with advanced SAP skills and strong business partnering capabilities.
Strong ability to influence with and without authority.
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
