Join NVIT as a Term Instructor for the Office Administration Certificate starting October 19, 2026. Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Office and teaching to inspire students in Merritt, BC.

NVIT is seeking Term Instructors to deliver courses covering topics like Business English and Records Management. This role is suited for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and a passion for education, particularly with Indigenous adult learners. Your ability to foster communication and problem-solving will play a key role in student success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct courses such as APBT 130 and APBT 111
• Engage students through hands-on learning experiences
• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student work




• Support Indigenous learners in their educational journey
• Develop course materials that enhance learning outcomes

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualifications
• Teaching experience with Indigenous communities preferred
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
• Understanding of Indigenous cultures and values
