Support parliamentary events at the House of Commons as an Audio-Visual Production Technician, working on-site five days a week. Your expertise will enhance the quality of multimedia services.
The House of Commons is currently seeking an Audio-Visual Production Technician for its Digital Media Operations team. This role involves significant responsibilities in supporting live broadcasts and ensuring high-quality audiovisual delivery during parliamentary proceedings. You will collaborate closely with technical staff and external partners to facilitate successful operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and maintain audio-visual production systems
• Work under the Television Director for event coordination
• Ensure high-quality outputs during live sessions
• Troubleshoot any equipment issues in office
• Support various parliamentary events through multimedia services
Requirements:
• Diploma in broadcasting or audio-visual technology
• Hands-on experience with videoconferencing systems
• Background in multi-camera live production environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills for AV equipment
• Willingness to adjust to shift work and overtime
