This Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse position involves comprehensive nursing assessments and implementing individual care plans to support psychiatric patients. You will actively participate in a collaborative team, conduct educational sessions, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement patient-centered nursing care
• Engage in the therapeutic community of the unit
• Document assessments and care evaluations accurately
• Advocate for privacy and patient autonomy




• Mentor nursing students and staff during orientation

Requirements:
• Must have graduated from a recognized nursing program
• At least one year of related mental health experience
• Current BCCNM registration as RN or RPN
• Familiarity with mental health legislation and treatments
• Solid communication and crisis intervention skills
