Become a Registered Nurse at Osawatomie Family Medicine and be an integral part of patient care. This full-time role involves coordinating healthcare services and engaging with patients directly in a supportive environment.
As a registered nurse, you will apply the nursing process to foster patient health through collaboration with physicians and team members. This role focuses on providing both physical and emotional support while adhering to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and Miami County Medical Center’s values. You will participate in patient-centered care as part of the Health Home team, ensuring each patient's needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate critical thinking in nursing processes
• Coordinate healthcare services among various entities
• Answer calls and evaluate patients’ needs
• Identify areas for personal and qualified growth
• Engage as an effective team member
Requirements:
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• CPR/AED/BLS certification required within 14 days
• Multi-State License as a Registered Nurse
• Healthcare experience of at least 1 year preferred
• Proven ability to maintain patient safety
