Join the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan as a Wellness Navigator, focusing on the well-being of citizens in Saskatoon. This role connects individuals to essential mental health resources and programs.
This temporary, full-time position is responsible for supporting Métis citizens until March 31, 2028, in their mental health and addictions journeys. You will assess individual needs, coordinate access to services, and foster relationships with various stakeholders to reduce barriers in care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate client access to mental health and wellness services
• Develop and maintain a resource inventory for service delivery
• Collaborate with community organizations to ensure continuity of care
• Safeguard client records and confidentiality
• Engage in community outreach and engagement activities
Requirements:
• Degree in Human Services or equivalent experience
• Experience with community service navigation
• Familiarity with Métis cultural context
• Solid interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Must have a valid Saskatchewan driver's license
