Make a difference in the lives of families at The Salvation Army as a Child and Family Services Worker in Victoria, BC. You will provide community support and assistance through various vital programs.

This temporary part time role focuses on enhancing the well-being of individuals and families in the community. You'll assist with various initiatives, such as the Food Bank, seasonal programs, and the new bi-weekly Camp High Point. Detailed responsibilities include organizing Christmas Toy/Food distributions and engaging in public relations events to support community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and assist with Camp High Point events
• Support Christmas Toy and Food Assistance distribution
• Maintain confidentiality of program participants
• Help with various community program activities
• Assist in organizing public relations events

Requirements:
• Completion of High School education
• Up to two years of relevant experience
• CPR, First Aid training required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors

Support community wellness by engaging directly with clients and families at The Salvation Army.
