Reporting to the FASD Coordinator, your primary role involves creating comprehensive service plans that prioritize family goals and essential services for stabilization. You will conduct assessments, facilitate access to community programs, and engage in extensive training as needed. Your advocacy will be pivotal in supporting families affected by FASD and ensuring their long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement personalized service plans
• Liaise with agencies for family support needs
• Conduct assessments to determine stabilization goals
• Mentor both clients and relevant community professionals
• Maintain client confidentiality and build positive relationships
Requirements:
• Certification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• At least one year of work experience in addictions
• Knowledge of First Nations culture and community dynamics
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Solid initiative and attention to detail
Promote family welfare and support through effective mentorship in the FASD Program.
