Join Nipissing University as a Community Coordinator, focusing on youth programs and outreach efforts. Lead camps and inclusive activities while connecting with local families and schools.

As a full-time Community Programs Coordinator for a 12-month contract, you will assist in the management of various programs aimed at youth in North Bay. Your role includes supporting planning, delivery, and logistics for programs such as summer camps and after-school services. You’ll also be integral in student recruitment initiatives, fostering relationships with schools and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations of youth programs
• Develop and execute summer, March Break, and PD Day schedules
• Ensure an inclusive and accessible workplace for all participants




• Facilitate community outreach and recruitment events
• Partner with university departments for effective program delivery

Requirements:
• Degree from a recognized university required
• Experience in community-based programming (2-3 years)
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Understanding of inclusion and accessibility principles
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
